REMOTE VIEWING - OR EXTRASENSORY PERCEPTION USING SCIENTIFIC METHODS
Now, I will present one of the most fascinating and, at the same time, scientific techniques for activating and utilizing extrasensory perception to gather valuable information, often unavailable through other means.
Many people probably ask themselves when hearing about extrasensory perception for the first time: Okay, but if it works, why isn’t it talked about and why doesn’t the military or intelligence services use it, for example? Well, they actually do use it, or at least the intelligence services of the world’s greatest powers have long been using extrasensory perception.
HISTORY OF REMOTE VIEWING
The Cold War, which created the threat of total nuclear annihilation and caused paranoia on both the USA and USSR sides, was a period when military intelligence agencies tried to gain an advantage over the enemy by any possible means.
In a situation of extremely limited insight into what the opposing side actually possessed, and with disinformation operations by counterintelligence, it was easy to believe that perhaps the enemy possessed a secret weapon with which they might already be years ahead of us.
It was then, according to a certain anecdote, that French intelligence fed the Russians a rumor that the Americans had a program of “Parapsychic Spies” capable of mentally penetrating their military installations and gathering intelligence about them.
The Russians, convinced of the truth of this information, began their own program of “parapsychic spies” believing that if the Americans had it, they must have it too.
Some time later, US intelligence discovered that the Soviet Union had a program of parapsychic spies. It was unknown how effective it was, but the reaction was: “If the Russians have parapsychic spies, we cannot fall behind them in this field!”
It was decided to begin a program of military research and training of PSI spies (PSI from the Greek letter Ψ, read as “psi”. In psychology, Ψ denotes the psyche, and in parapsychology, it is a designation for all paranormal phenomena).
Research in the field of using extrasensory perception for intelligence purposes brought a breakthrough when, in the USA, a certain Ingo Swann joined the program and developed “Remote Viewing protocols”. These are research procedures that allow for the scientific study, using extrasensory perception, of objects, places, and people located beyond the range of the physical senses of the examining person.
TWO PILLARS OF REMOTE VIEWING
1. THE FIRST PILLAR IS THE FACT THAT THE STUDY IS CONDUCTED BLIND.
The person using extrasensory perception receives only a several-digit number, which is the designation of the target, and does not know what object they will be studying.
This eliminates the biggest objection that skeptics had, namely the possibility of suggesting the answer through the question itself. The RV (Remote Viewer) throughout the entire study does not know the target they are studying, and yet is able to transmit information describing the studied target.
Cases of the effectiveness of such studies under conditions of strict adherence to scientific procedures, used by US intelligence, are officially confirmed. We owe this fact to American law requiring the declassification of military information after a specified time. We know that Americans successfully used RV, and there is plenty of confirmed material on this subject.
The declassified information also inspired the creation of films based on them, such as “The Men Who Stare at Goats” (a somewhat humorous take on the subject in places, but based on a compilation of real events and figures – one of my favorite films), or “Suspect Zero” (a thriller).
2. THE SECOND PILLAR OF REMOTE VIEWING IS THE DIVISION OF TASKS DURING AN RV SESSION.
There is a division of roles between the perceiving person, using their extrasensory perception abilities, who, as I mentioned, receives only the target designation, and the monitoring person – conducting the session.
It was discovered that one of the greatest obstacles to effectively using extrasensory perception is activating analytical thinking during the act of perception. In other words, if we have an open mind and simply allow ourselves to passively receive stimuli, not judging them internally and not pondering their meaning during the session – we have much greater chances of receiving true information. However, when we start analyzing during perception, the part of the brain responsible for creative imagination is activated, which can quickly lead to the person starting to create imaginations on a given subject instead of perceiving.
Thanks to including in the process a conducting person who, during the session, listens to or reads the information received in real-time, analyzes it, and asks non-suggestive questions, helping in this way to guide the perceiver to focus on interesting elements of the vision – fantastic effects are achieved!
The perceiver, in a state of relaxation, does not create blocks in their mind by analyzing. Meanwhile, the person conducting the session completely focuses on analysis and guiding the session in the desired direction.
In this way, a breakthrough was made in the field of a scientific approach to extrasensory perception, knocking out of skeptics’ hands the argument that the results of extrasensory perception are suggested by expectations or by the conducting persons, as happens, for example, in the case of hypnotic sessions.
DEVELOPMENT OF REMOTE VIEWING AFTER THE COLD WAR PERIOD
Perhaps you are now asking yourself: Since US intelligence successfully used RV techniques, do they still use them?
Officially, the program was ended with the end of the Cold War. Officially. 🙂
The subject was simply uncomfortable to publicly admit that the military uses parapsychology. Moreover, Remote Viewing was associated with telepathy, which in turn caused goosebumps of concern among officials and politicians on whom further financing of the military program depended, as they began to fear that some RV could read their thoughts. Although it doesn’t quite work that way, the fear of such a possibility certainly contributed to sweeping the subject under the rug.
Another objection was supposedly “lack of effectiveness” (despite many confirmed successful cases of obtaining intelligence information, which is noted in military documents).
The fact is, RV effectiveness is not 100%. (and is that of classical intelligence?)
RV sessions conducted by Ingo Swann had about 70% effectiveness. However, 70% is still 7 cases out of 10 where it is possible to obtain information unavailable by other means!
Moreover, nothing prevents several RVs from studying the same target at once. Then one has an additional tool for verifying the vision from several perspectives.
However, in my opinion, the most important and absolutely fascinating reason was the fact that during sessions, beings and objects unknown to official science were repeatedly encountered by accident!
During sessions, as many former RVs describe, they happened to perceive beings or objects that entered their visions and engaged them in conversation, for example. In other words, they entered a space that contains not only the possibility of perceiving our physical earthly reality but is also associated with perceiving beings and spaces beyond our physical world.
Imagine the confusion and mixing up of the military and the RVs themselves, who initially were supposed to study some missile silo or enemy facility, and suddenly some luminous beings appear to them and try to draw their attention to something completely different, in their opinion, more important.
These events, by the way, later initiated a whole chain of events and research that is currently being conducted.
Moreover, a person developing extrasensory perception in themselves stops thinking only in terms of following orders.
Training by intelligence of people who were to be PSI spies developed perception and skills in them, thanks to which they naturally began to see a broader perspective and ask questions about a broader context.
In this way, many RVs began to explore reality on their own, going far beyond what the military trained them for.
In turn, these searches were like a stone in the shoe for military intelligence, which wanted to have an obedient soldier-spy, not an enlightened, spiritualized thinker.
In this way, from the “accidental” decision to study and use extrasensory perception techniques for intelligence purposes – we have come to possess phenomenal techniques that can be used not only for gathering information but also for personal and spiritual development in a very broad range.
The declassification of information freed the hands of many Remote Observers who had previously worked for the military. They began publishing their books and providing RV services as private contractors.
As a result, the military still uses RV, only now on the basis of cooperation with private companies.
Today, not only the military, but many companies use Remote Viewing services. They simply don’t advertise it at all, and in fact, the contract usually includes non-disclosure of such cooperation.
Some get rich on the stock market this way, others search for natural deposits using RV methods, and still others obtain ideas for patents and innovative solutions. All of this is entirely possible thanks to the professional application of Remote Viewing.
