Remote Viewing is a scientific technique for gathering information about a distant or unseen target – one that cannot be accessed through conventional sensory means. For decades, this method was developed and actively used by military intelligence agencies around the world. If you’ve never heard of it, that’s not an accident. But the declassified documents are public, the research is real, and the results were striking enough to keep these programs funded for over twenty years. If you want personal guidance, you can explore remote viewing individual coaching.

The History of Remote Viewing

The story begins in the Cold War. According to declassified accounts, French intelligence planted a rumor – whether as disinformation or a genuine tip, no one is certain – that the Soviet Union had developed a program to train psychic spies. The Soviets, hearing about it, decided to start one. The Americans found out about the Soviet program and started one of their own.

Out of this strange feedback loop came some of the most unusual research in modern military history. The U.S. program eventually produced a rigorous methodology for extrasensory perception, developed in large part by Ingo Swann – a gifted psychic and researcher who worked with the Stanford Research Institute. Swann’s protocols became the foundation for what we now call Remote Viewing: structured, repeatable, and designed to minimize the influence of imagination and wishful thinking.

The Two Pillars of Remote Viewing

What separates Remote Viewing from other approaches to extrasensory perception is its methodological discipline. Two principles are central to everything:

Blind targeting. The remote viewer does not know what the target is. They receive only a random code – a number or letter sequence – with no additional information. This eliminates suggestion bias entirely. The viewer cannot unconsciously “fill in” a target they already know. What they perceive must come from somewhere else.

Division of roles. In a proper RV session, the viewer and the monitor (the person guiding the session) have clearly separated functions. The monitor knows the target; the viewer does not. This separation protects the integrity of the data.

Under these conditions, Ingo Swann achieved approximately 70% accuracy in controlled sessions – a figure that, in the context of pure chance, is statistically extraordinary. If you’ve seen the film The Men Who Stare at Goats or Suspect Zero, you’ve encountered fictionalized versions of the world these protocols came from. The reality was more rigorous – and more interesting – than the films suggest.

After the Cold War: Remote Viewing Goes Civilian

The official military Remote Viewing programs were eventually shut down – at least publicly. The stated reason involved political optics: associating military intelligence with telepathy was uncomfortable in a post-Cold War climate. But there was a deeper reason, one that surfaces in the accounts of participants. Some Remote Viewers, during deep sessions, began encountering something unexpected: luminous, non-human entities that seemed to take an interest in the viewers themselves. These encounters unsettled the programs’ operators. More broadly, trained Remote Viewers developed an expanded sense of consciousness that made them less suited to simply following orders.

When the programs were officially declassified, the military’s Remote Viewers were free to work in the private sector. And they did. Today, Remote Viewing is used commercially: for stock market analysis, prospecting for natural resources, evaluating patents, and investigating scenarios where conventional information-gathering falls short. The military almost certainly continues to use Remote Viewing – through private contractors rather than official programs.

Remote Viewing in Poland

Poland has no official military Remote Viewing program. But the research has taken root here through independent channels.

My own path began around the year 2000, following a spontaneous out-of-body experience that opened my interest in extrasensory perception. I encountered Courtney Brown’s book Cosmic Voyage, which documented his Remote Viewing sessions targeting non-terrestrial intelligences. That book became a doorway. I began studying the available literature, experimenting with the protocols, and eventually formed the first Remote Viewing research group in Poland.

That group is still active. We continue to train, research, and refine the practice – the only organization of its kind in the country. If you’re drawn to extrasensory perception and want to explore it with real methodology behind you, Remote Viewing offers something rare: a structured, evidence-based path into territory that most people only encounter in speculation.
