Meditation is the ability to quiet the mind and emotions, look more deeply within yourself and reality, and rise above your shallow ego to a higher level of awareness.
It’s no wonder that meditation has become an increasingly widespread practice worldwide – because it delivers visible benefits to those who practice it. Through meditation, we can achieve greater harmony and inner peace, gain new understanding of many subjects, and develop a broader perspective.
Remote Viewing shares many of meditation’s most beneficial qualities – and can even be called “the most fascinating form of meditation.”
What Is Remote Viewing Meditation?
Remote Viewing is the practice of activating focused mental concentration for extrasensory perception. Through Remote Viewing, participants reach a state of inner vision – perceiving reality with the mind’s eye – gaining information, knowledge, and awareness that cannot be accessed by any other means.
Learning Remote Viewing also includes steps typical of learning to meditate: developing the ability to focus the mind, and practicing mindfulness that expands our perceptiveness.
Through Remote Viewing practice, you develop higher mental focus and heightened awareness of even the most subtle signals of your intuition. The result is an expanded perception and understanding of reality.
Remote Viewing and the Ego – A Meditative Parallel
Remote Viewing also trains the ability to step beyond the shallow ego. During a Remote Viewing session, the practitioner sets aside most of their personal beliefs, judgments, and preferences – rising above the ego grants access to reality from many other perspectives.
After a session, analysis and contemplation of the experience is of course possible – but the experience itself of stepping even briefly beyond your everyday, narrowed perspective can be profoundly liberating and enriching.
Many schools of meditation seek precisely this experience: rising above the limitations of the earthly ego and experiencing a broader reality. Remote Viewing delivers that experience – and at the same time, gives you much more.
Is Remote Viewing the Most Fascinating Form of Meditation?
Remote Viewing can function like good meditation – but its primary purpose is to activate and use the ability of extrasensory perception to gain new information and knowledge through direct, empirical experience. That’s precisely why I call Remote Viewing the most fascinating and exciting form of meditation: while training the classic meditative virtues – the ability to quiet the mind, master one’s mental state, concentrate, and transcend the ego’s limits – Remote Viewing simultaneously allows you to personally participate in the adventure of bringing your consciousness to fascinating places and witnessing events across time and space.
Should Remote Viewing Replace Classical Meditation?
Not necessarily.
While Remote Viewing gives us much of what classical meditation offers, there’s a good reason why so many types of meditation and meditative practices exist. Each form of meditation may be suited to different applications and more optimal for strengthening specific desired qualities of the mind.
Many people who practice Remote Viewing also practice other forms of meditation independently – and you can often observe improvements in Remote Viewing results when other forms of meditation are incorporated as well. The more frequently you practice stepping beyond your narrow ego, the better your Remote Viewing abilities become. The best Remote Viewers are also people who meditate outside of RV sessions.
Nevertheless, if someone has limited time and is looking for the most effective single practice – one that trains the greatest number of desired qualities, including those developed by classical meditation – Remote Viewing fulfills that holistic vision of supporting human development on multiple levels.
So if you want to elevate your concentration, mindfulness, and perceptiveness, develop your intuition, gain deeper insight into reality, and rise above the limitations of the earthly ego – Remote Viewing is the high-level spiritual practice I recommend above all others.
