A human being possesses a remarkable power – one that allows them to return to the right path almost instantly, without having to retrace every step of the journey that led them astray.
Conceptually, it’s a bit like teleportation.
We wander along our various paths and find ourselves somewhere we don’t want to be. We want to get back on track. All we have to do is look inward, locate our Personal Source – and we quite literally leap back to our true, authentic Self. From there, we can step back onto the right path again, enriched by everything we’ve experienced along the way.
Of course, if we’ve gotten ourselves muddy and worn out along the way, it may take a moment to recover. But recovering is infinitely easier once you’ve returned to your true Self and are drawing on the power of your Personal Source – compared to doing the same thing while fumbling blindly through the dark forest of your own lostness.
Everyone can find their own way of reaching their Personal Source. To begin, it’s best to try one of two approaches – which one works better for you depends on your individual psychological and energetic makeup:
– Either focus on the heart chakra (located at the center of the chest),
– or through the crown chakra (located at the top of the head), try to concentrate on what lies above it, and in that way reach your Personal Source.
A clarifying note that may help in your practice:
Personally, I use the heart chakra more for contact with my Personal Source (my core), and the crown chakra for contact with the Source of all things – the primary, ultimate Source.
You can move from one to the other, but it’s often easier to go straight to whichever aligns with your current goal. The fact that this particular distinction works for me doesn’t mean it will work the same way for you. However, the two key access points for Source contact – whether Personal or Divine (and at a certain level they merge into one) – are the heart chakra and the crown chakra, so these are the two we focus on in this practice.
Interestingly, you can reach your true Self and the power that flows from it through the heart chakra even when it is in very poor condition – even when you are filled with grief, have suffered greatly, feel isolated, or the chakra is generally blocked.
Moreover – while certain actions may cause us to temporarily experience a disconnection from the Source at the level of the crown chakra, no one is able to completely cut us off from our Personal Source.
I’ll say it again: no matter what happens, and no matter what forces may have caused someone harm, they still have the ability to reach their true Self – their Personal Source – and by merging once again with that true Self, they have vastly greater capacity for regeneration and for getting back on track with their authentic path of development.
Practical Exercise:
Focus on your access point to your Personal Source.
Release everything you feel to be artificial or harmful to yourself – anything causing negative sensations, discomfort, or inner conflict.
Turn your awareness inward, searching for what lies at your foundation – for what makes you Your True Self.
If you are currently feeling lost in life, try to return – in memory or at least in feeling – to a time when things were going well, when you felt you were living in alignment with yourself. What guided you then? What were your goals, your ideals? What did you believe in?
If you can’t remember a time when things felt good, try to recall a moment when, even through difficulties, you felt at least partially fulfilled and moving toward greater self-realization.
Now go deeper – toward the element at the very core of your being that is the essence of all of this. The part of you from which you originate. You can think of it as your original cause.
In this exercise, what matters most is not visualization itself, but above all a strong intention to reach your Personal Source. If you succeed, you will have no doubt that you’ve arrived – provided you trust yourself and don’t constantly second-guess what you experience.
