Many people wonder how to strengthen the effects of their meditation. Solo practice – though valuable and necessary – doesn’t always deliver satisfying results within a reasonable time for everyone. Sometimes we need more supportive circumstances. Group meditation can be an enormous help and support for personal growth.

How Group Meditation Differs from Solo Meditation

Group meditation is the shared alignment of participants’ intention and attention toward high-vibrational, positive frequencies.

One remarkable advantage of group meditation is that – as has been observed repeatedly during group practices – the energy of the group doesn’t merely add up; it multiplies. In successful group meditations, participants often find themselves receiving significant supportive energy and leaving the practice feeling genuinely recharged.

Energetic revitalization – arising from the unblocking and stimulation of energy flow – is only one of the positive possible effects, however. After all, the goal isn’t always to get energized.

Meditation often serves as a tool for reaching hidden aspects of the self, gaining inner insight, or initiating a cleansing process. Energetic cleansing is more effective the more we’re able to raise the frequency of our personal space – body, aura, and all layers of our existence in the here and now. Alone, this can be difficult, especially when we genuinely aren’t at our strongest.

In group meditation, raising your personal frequency can be surprisingly easy. The shared intention directed toward a positive, uplifting goal that accompanies people meditating together has tremendous transformative power – capable of activating processes within us that, alone, would require much longer to develop.

Group Meditation and Energetic Safety

Some people naturally wonder about the safety of their own energy in group meditations.

The universal principle is that our own intentions and thoughts form the foundation of our experience. This means that if you join a group meditation with pure intentions and a positive purpose, that is precisely the kind of experience you’ll draw from it.

It’s very difficult for a single individual to disrupt a group meditation energetically. When you have, say, five people with strong positive intentions sustaining positive visualizations, someone with less wholesome motives or simply “heavy” energy – faced with the collective energy and high frequency generated by the group – simply cannot disturb that process.

You might even say that you are never more energetically safe than you are in the right group of meditating people. The energy of the group, multiplying its power, acts as protection against the potential influence of individuals who – due to a very poor energetic state – might need to draw more energy from the group process or otherwise affect it with their own energy. There is plenty of positive energy in a group meditation for everyone. The source of that energy isn’t the participants themselves – it’s the energy of the universe, accessed collectively through directed visualizations and acts of will.

A separate issue arises, however, with groups that consist largely of people with unclear intentions, or simply people without adequate experience who are operating at low energetic frequencies at the start of the practice. Such groups do exist.

Joining such a group could pose a genuine risk to your life force energy, since the power of group influence can have a strong effect on a receptive, inexperienced person.

For this reason, before joining any meditation group – whether local or online – I always recommend thoroughly familiarizing yourself with who leads the group, what energy is present, and so on, before you unite your own energy with that group field.

Energetic contact established under such circumstances may later require dedicated cleansing to disconnect from draining influences.

In summary: group meditation is generally safe and offers many benefits – but before joining a shared meditation, it’s worth getting to know who you’ll be meditating with and who is facilitating the practice.

Meditating Together Is Absolutely Worth It

Shared meditation is often a gateway to truly deep spiritual experiences, better self-insight, and frequently a way to meet kindred souls with whom meditating together is a genuine joy.

Every online session with my advanced Remote Viewing students begins with a group meditation. Speaking from direct experience: shared meditation allows for significantly better results in group work and improves individual performance across many areas of spiritual and energetic practice. If you have the opportunity, I strongly encourage you to meditate together. Together we multiply positive vibrations.
