From my earliest childhood I remember something that will seem strange to many: a feeling of being cut off from something larger, and of being trapped inside a body in a world where time and space are hard matter – imposing, as I experienced it then, artificial limitations.
Some people will understand what I’m describing here – those who feel similarly – while for a good many others it will be an unfamiliar feeling.
For as long as I can remember, I knew that the norm should be to communicate through thought alone – telepathically, far more fully than we can manage with words – that by the very act of will alone one should be able to influence matter, and that perception should extend far beyond the five physical senses. As a child I didn’t know the names for these things, but I felt with absolute certainty that this was how it was supposed to be. That what surrounded me was somehow a limiting shell.
The spontaneous experience of OOBE (Out of Body Experience) sent me onto a path of searching and research in order to understand what I had then experienced.
When I discovered that this was not a singular, deeply personal experience – that many people around the world had experienced existing outside the physical body in exactly this way – I considered it remarkable news.
I thought: if one can leave the physical body and experience existence outside of it while still here on Earth, this is a breakthrough for collective consciousness – and at the same time a confirmation of my deep feeling that until now, in some way, humanity had been operating under artificial constraints.
With great enthusiasm I began researching OOBE techniques. And I discovered the first serious limitation: despite enormous enthusiasm and dedication to training, only a small fraction of practitioners actually master the phenomenon. Even more people, while able to experience individual, short OOBE episodes, were never able to master it well enough to induce it on demand and consciously control the direction of their journeys.
Moreover, OOBE is a phenomenon experienced in solitude – and no one from outside can easily verify what the practitioner has experienced. While for the individual who experiences OOBE it is an experience that clearly proves they can exist outside the physical body – they cannot convincingly demonstrate this to others who have not had the same experience.
Objectively, this is simply too large a step for many people in today’s society. The leap from the known to the unknown is often too great – like learning to swim by jumping directly into deep water with no bottom in sight.
There are better ways.
In summary:
- OOBE, contrary to expectations, is mastered by only a small fraction of interested people.
- OOBE currently cannot be proven to people who have not experienced it.
- OOBE raises many concerns related to the act of leaving the body, which discourages many people from pursuing it.
The classic objection leveled at people who spontaneously claimed to use ESP (Extrasensory Perception) was always that they already knew in advance the subject of what they were supposed to examine. Someone went to a “fortune teller” and told her about their family before she gave advice – so it was reasonable to assume she had simply analyzed the situation logically and responded based on that analysis rather than on genuine extrasensory perception. Similarly, when a “clairvoyant” was asked about something, the question itself often contained information that allowed a probable answer to be given without any real ESP involved.
Remote Viewing resolves this problem definitively – through the use of blind targets. The viewer receives only an identification number assigned to the target and, without consciously knowing the subject of investigation, must describe that target. If they do so accurately and in accordance with reality, we have a proven, verifiable fact of extrasensory perception – with no possibility of guessing.
Furthermore, Remote Viewing – as practice consistently shows – can be learned by virtually anyone, and far more quickly than mastering OOBE, for example. Only very rare individuals encounter significant difficulties with it, and in years of working with many people, such cases are nearly unheard of.
Breaking Through the Barrier of Humanity’s Disconnection and Reclaiming Our Own Power
Here we arrive at the central issue of this article. Remote Viewing is the method that allows interested people to experience their own extrasensory perception abilities in an objective, verifiable way – to test them, confirm them, and build on them through accumulated evidence. It also allows gathering new information from research sessions far more quickly and efficiently than other approaches.
Trained Remote Viewers break through the barrier of disconnection that the vast majority of humanity currently experiences. The limitations that keep most people from accessing expanded perception have no hold over practitioners who have developed this skill.
As a result, over time we will observe a gradual – and increasingly significant – unblocking of the flow of consciousness between ourselves and the rest of the universe, at a previously unprecedented level.
In time, this effect will spread to all of humanity – through what is known as the “hundredth monkey effect,” which needs no further explanation here.
As Remote Viewing is currently practiced for personal needs, personal research and exploration – and as the number of people mastering this skill grows rapidly – I expect that over time a breakthrough in consciousness will become possible, lifting many of the blocks that humanity currently operates under. It will no longer be possible to hide the truth from humanity, and the consciousness newly gained in Remote Viewing groups will flow outward to the rest of humanity – and become a new, higher level of awareness on our planet.
