In the 1990s I was a teenager, and even then I was captivated by the broad territory of personal development and by attempts to foresee what lay ahead for humanity – both through scientific prediction and through clairvoyance. Over time those interests deepened, as I began practicing extrasensory perception myself and researching the nature of human existence in a wider context.
I remember the waves of fascination with Nostradamus’s prophecies, the Mayan calendar, and all the expectations surrounding the year 2012. Those were simply the most media-friendly topics – the ones that captured the widest audience. But beyond the mainstream, many people had long been having dreams and visions of what might come, and most of them kept those experiences to themselves, sharing them only with their closest friends – and even then, usually only as an exception.
Most people genuinely don’t want to be known for sharing unsettling prophecies that “probably won’t come true anyway.”
Many of those experiences happened before 2012. I’ll admit – I too was swept up in the idea that 2012 would mark a pivotal event in the world. Admittedly, as the date approached I increasingly sensed it probably wouldn’t unfold that way – but even I felt a certain disappointment afterward, a brief moment of doubt: maybe all those visions and reports of a promised transformation were just fantasy? Because when one high-profile thing doesn’t come true, we tend to throw everything into the same bag of doubt. That’s a mistake. It only means that particular scenario played out differently.
I suspect, in fact, that someone somewhere may have deliberately fueled that hype – precisely in order to generate mass disappointment among those who deeply longed for change in this world, and to clip their wings in the process.
The Vision I Recorded Around 2009
I remember having a vision around 2009 – still preserved somewhere in my journals – about a period in the world when it would be difficult to feel certain what tomorrow would bring. I had the sense that it would be a time requiring improvisation, adaptability to rapidly changing conditions; that intuition and the instinct to navigate would become our primary means of moving through reality; and that the only stable constant would be the relationships with the people closest to us.
I felt that our loved ones – not just family, but kindred souls we’re connected to, sometimes temporarily scattered across the world – and the love between us would be what could give us strength, motivation, and some semblance of stability, because everything else would be unstable.
Now, looking at what is happening in the world – and especially at how I personally experience the current reality – it’s difficult not to think back to those visions. It’s genuinely hard to speak of stability or certainty about tomorrow, given what is unfolding globally, what politicians and financial elites are doing.
This Is Not the End – It Is the Awakening
Perhaps some will think this is a dark message. But I don’t see it that way at all. These are the prophesied times – not times of doom, but times of awakening. And awakening doesn’t always come as a single dramatic event. It comes gradually, as more and more people open their eyes.
This period calls on each of us to ask: what can I do with the means I have to support what is good – what builds consciousness, what gives freedom of choice, what opens eyes, what gives strength, what motivates and uplifts?
Think about what you can do to help in the process of awakening consciousness – and to support people in not feeling alone in what they are experiencing.
Why I Do This Work
I, too, am a person who acts out of conviction that it must be done – risking the comfort of an ordinary life to speak about risky things, exposing myself to ridicule, criticism, and the displeasure of those who don’t appreciate someone helping others expand their perception and consciousness.
To be able to share knowledge and experience and to create inspiring content, financial resources are necessary. If you work as I do – upwards of fourteen hours a day, which is what I dedicate in order to deliver valuable content to you and others – you have to be able to support yourself through it. The current situation is difficult, and I am not a large team with institutional backing; I have never received a single cent from any government for my research, nor did I ever seek it.
If you are able to help in any way – even simply by using the educational resources I’ve prepared on this site, or by recommending them to people you know – I ask you to do so.
Your support matters, because speaking about things that make religious fanatics or materialistic cynics uncomfortable is neither easy nor financially rewarding. I want to be able to continue doing what I do: researching, discovering, and sharing – writing, recording videos, and going further. Especially now, given the potential this work has shown.
