Self-knowledge – awareness of who we are and what we carry within ourselves, through what filters we perceive reality, what we are capable of, what possibilities we contain – is the foundation of any path of development and genuine self-realization.
If you want to feel fulfilled in life, to realize your potential and achieve your goals, the foundation is knowing and understanding yourself. Only by first knowing and understanding ourselves can we realistically begin to understand the people around us and the world at large.
The Paradox of Extrasensory Development
When most people think about developing extrasensory perception, self-awareness doesn’t immediately come to mind. We tend to focus instead on the idea of discovering what lies beyond us – other places, other minds, hidden information. But here’s the paradox: to learn to perceive extrasensorially – to become capable of receiving subtle, intuitive signals – we must first learn self-observation, and learn to notice ourselves.
Learning to perceive beyond oneself through extrasensory perception is fundamentally based on the ability to self-observe and to distinguish: which signals come through the genuine sixth sense, and which are the product of our own mind, our imagination, our pre-existing beliefs. Without that inner discernment, we can’t reliably know the difference between real extrasensory data and our own mental noise.
This is why, in my work, I teach not only the techniques of extrasensory perception themselves, but also the internal awareness that makes those techniques actually function.
Extrasensory Perception as a Path to Super-Consciousness
A significant portion of the practitioners who developed Remote Viewing in the US military program – after it was declassified and they were freed from classified duties – went on to devote themselves to passing on their knowledge and inspiring change. Though they will likely carry certain secrets for the rest of their lives, their example demonstrates clearly: training perception develops overall consciousness. And training perception in the super-range – extrasensory perception – develops what we might call super-consciousness: an intuitive, direct insight into inspiring and breakthrough realities.
It turns out, then, that one of the best methods of personal and spiritual development is the development of extrasensory perception itself. As you learn to distinguish the signals flowing from genuine extrasensory awareness from your own interpretation of reality and your habitual thoughts, an entirely new spectrum of possibilities opens before you.
Only if we learn to Perceive – will we be able to use the knowledge and power that surrounds us.
If the development of extrasensory perception in the context of consciousness growth and self-knowledge interests you, I invite you to explore the resources and training available on this site.
